Kellie Cleveland was born and raised in Arlington, but has lived in the Flower Mound/Lantana area since 2004. Dr. Cleveland’s advanced education began at Texas A&M University where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. She then returned to the metroplex and attended Baylor College of Dentistry where she graduated 8th in her class in 2004. While at Baylor her honors/awards included: Dean’s Honor list all four years, Odontological Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry Award. Her professional associations include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the local Denton County Dental Society. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry which is an organization of general dentists that are committed to improving themselves through continuing education.
Dr. Cleveland has learned that the best doctor-patient relationships are based on skill, trust and most importantly good communication. In her own words, “I love dentistry and the opportunity it gives me to build relationships with my patients. My goal is to treat my patients with the same gentle care and compassion that I would want to be treated with if I were sitting in the dental chair."
In her free time, Dr. Cleveland enjoys reading, being outdoors, fishing and spending time with friends and family, which includes her husband of fourteen years, Charlie, and their three children. She loves running and completed her first half marathon in March of 2012. She looks forward to serving the dental needs of her neighbors for years to come at Lantana Family Dentistry.
I have been in the dental field for over 20 years, in both clinical and administrative roles. What I love most about my role as office manager is that I get to interact with patients and their families all day long. Nothing makes me happier than bringing a smile to our patient's faces! Dr. Cleveland's office is such a warm, friendly environment and I'm happy to help our patients with anything they may need. I am originally from Louisiana but Texas is definitely where my heart is now. I have 2 grown children, Ethan Kyle and Taylor. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and camping with my boyfriend, Duane, and his daughter, Alina. There's nothing I love more than spending time with my family and dear friends.
I have been a dental assistant for 13 years. I find dentistry to be a very rewarding career. I enjoy talking to my patients and making them feel comfortable. I love being a part of Dr. Cleveland's team.
